Recently, the editorial board of the 2023 edition (i.e., the 10th edition) of “A Guide to the Core Journals of China” sent a notice that Blasting was included into the core journals of "Mining Engineering (except coal mining)". The new edition was edited based on the principles and methods of bibliometrics, through the search, statistics and analysis of relevant literatures by researchers, as well as the review of subject experts.

      “A Guide to the Core Journals of China” is a research project on evaluation of Chinese core journals, which is participated by many periodical workers and experts from Peking University Library and more than a dozen university libraries in Beijing. At present, Blasting has been selected as one of the core journals of China for 6 consecutive times, and we would like to thank the editorial board, review experts, and authors for their support and help.
