1. General rules
The editorial board of Blasting is an ad hoc top-level academic institution responsible for the direction of periodical running, academic guidance, honesty supervision and professional consultation of Blasting, aiming at strengthening the academic management of editing and correcting and promoting the healthy and orderly development of the journal.
2. Responsibilities of the editorial board
2.1 Implement the guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and country on editing and publishing.
2.2 Review and approve the editorial policy and aim of publication, as well as the editorial and publishing plan of the editorial office.
2.3 Regularly inspect and guide the work of the editorial office, guide and check the daily work of the editorial office and the academic quality of Blasting journal.
2.4 The editorial board shall hold regular meetings, listen to the work reports of the editorial office, study and solve the editorial and publishing issues raised by the editorial office and committee members. The editorial board should also review and evaluate the problems in the editing, typesetting, printing quality, publishing and distribution of the journal.
3. Responsibilities of the editorial board
3.1. Entrusted by the editorial office of Blasting, it is obligatory for the editorial board to timely complete the review of manuscripts sent by the editorial office according to the review standards of academic papers (viewpoints, arguments, logicality and structure). The editorial board should make a fair and objective evaluation of the reviewed manuscripts, and put forward the review comments, so as to ensure the academic quality of the manuscripts.
3.2. The editorial board should timely understand and provide the latest scientific research trends in the field of blasting. The editorial board timely recommend the latest research results of major topics and novel manuscripts to the editorial office, and put forward the proposal of topic selection for the journal.
3.3 The editorial board is responsible for checking the academic manuscripts of their own institutes or related disciplines and recommending reviewers. They also assist the editorial office in soliciting and reviewing manuscripts for a certain topic.
3.4 The editorial board shall listen to and collect the opinions and requirements of readers and authors. They can provide suggestions to the editorial office at any time for the comments of readers and authors on the layout, printing and distribution, so as to enhance the readability and popularity of the journal.
3.5 The editorial board shall carry out professional academic activities, organize events for exchange of experience in running periodicals, hold the activities of reviewing and analyzing journals, activate the academic atmosphere and improve the level of running periodicals.
3.6. The members of editorial board take the lead in writing high-quality academic papers for Blasting, so as to guide the development direction of discipline research. Every editorial board member shall write at least one high-quality academic paper for Blasting every year.
3.7 The editorial board members should attend the editorial board meetings on time, implement the guidelines for running the magazine and the decisions of the editorial board, actively participate in the activities organized by the editorial board and complete the tasks entrusted by the editorial board.
4. Rights and interests of the editorial board members
4.1 They have the right to recommend manuscripts. Manuscripts recommended by the editorial board members can be published with priority after passing the review.
4.2 They can issue the editorial board certificate, and may work outside or participate in social activities as an editorial board member of Blasting.
4.3 The editorial board members can participate in academic conferences, and special exchange activities organized by Blasting for free.
4.4 The manuscript review fee shall be paid after reviewing the manuscripts, and each member will get one copy of Blasting for each issue.
5. Term and plenary meetings of the editorial board
5.1 The editorial board shall serve a term of four years.
5.2 In principle, the editorial board shall convene the “BLASTING Forum and Editorial Board Meeting” once a year, and may convene at any time if necessary.
5.3 When conditions permit, organize competition of excellent papers, excellent authors, etc.
